In 2009, Talbot Creek Community Church gives 10% of its offering donations to ministries in Canada and overseas.  In 2010, we plan to increase our giving to 11% of our offering.

We are currently supporting the following important ministries:

Ghana Rural Integrated Development (GRID)

GRID works to alleviate poverty in Northern Ghana. Its mission is to assist poor communities in meeting their basic needs in a sustainable manner.

Highlands Pregnancy Crisis Centre

Highlands Pregnancy Crisis Centre is a local ministry that started at around the same time that Talbot Creek Community Church did.  Many young girls and their babies are being given help and support at crisis times in their lives.

Brock Food Bank

Brock Food Bank supports local families in need of assistance.  It has a branch at the United Church in Beaverton, and anyone from Brechin who is facing financial hardship  can pick up necessities there.

Canadian Baptist Ministries and Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec

Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) is the Missions arm of Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ) and has varied ministries operating in all areas of the world.  CBOQ is the umbrella ministry under which Talbot Creek Community Church works.  Some of the funds that are sent to CBOQ are used to support church start-ups like Talbot Creek.
